Description

Amigos pelo Mundo is a method conceived and organized based on the Camões PLE Referential and the CEFR, aimed at learners of Portuguese as Heritage Language aged between 10 and 14 years, from levels A1 to B1, and which is perfectly adaptable for the teaching of Portuguese as Foreign Language, Non-Native Language and Second Language. The method is composed at each level by the Student`s Book, Exercise Book and Teacher`s Book, in a fully communicative approach, and whose pillars are interculturality and diaspora. In 9 Units, learners get to know the life stories and experiences of eight Portuguese-descendent characters who live in countries with large Portuguese Communities: Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and the United States. Each Unit is built considering the heterogeneity in the classroom and explores current thematics that promote interaction through the articulation of linguistic and cultural knowledge, in order to develop a critical spirit, as well as promoting the respect for diversity, difference, climate and environment in an increasingly technological world.

Tem o mestrado em Língua e Cultura Portuguesas, na área de especialização em Metodologia do Ensino do Português LE/L2, e doutoramento em Educação e Interculturalidade. É professora de português como língua estrangeira e formadora de professores de Português Língua Não Materna. Entre 2010 e 2018, foi Coordenadora do Ensino Português no Canadá, em representação do Camões, IP.
