Falsos Amigos - Português-Espanhol is a manual of Portuguese vocabulary from elementary to upper intermediate level designed to develop students` lexical competence and make them aware of the diff erences and similarities between Portuguese and Spanish in order to avoid the errors that
false friends can lead to. It is aimed mainly at Spanish speakers but would also be useful to students with Portuguese as their mother tongue and to students of PLE of other nationalities with knowledge of Spanish.

Doutorada em Filologia Românica pela Universidade de Granada onde é professora de Língua e Cultura Portuguesas para estrangeiros e de Tradução. Desenvolve pesquisa nas áreas do Ensino do Português LE/L2 e da Fraseologia, sendo autora de várias publicações de caráter pedagógico e científico. Tem, ainda, participado em diferentes projetos de investigação e colabora atualmente na elaboração do Refranero Multilingüe do Centro Virtual Cervantes do Instituto Cervantes.
