Description
Timi is a 4-level project for teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PFL) / Portuguese as a Second Language (PL2) to primary school children (ages 5 to 10).
The primary objective of this project is to teach the foreign language through a communicative, fun approach, presenting grammar and vocabular content in a gradual and systematic way so that it is absorbed almost imperceptibly.
Through a group of students and Timi - a friendly, mischievous turtle - the children explore familiar themes from their daily lives such as school, family, animals, etc. The aim is to stimulate oral comprehension, reading and oral and written expression.
Timi is a course based on oral expression and is aimed at students who are starting to read in Portuguese as a Foreign Language and Portuguese as a Second Language.
