O Meu Primeiro Prontuário Ortográfico is intended principally for children of school age (ages 7 to 15), the stage when they learn and consolidate correct ways of expressing themselves in Portuguese.The exposition of the range of grammar and spelling content is suited to children and adolescents: The explanations are easy to understand, the language is direct and relevant, and the examples are easily assimilated. In summary, it provides the student with a spelling compendium that he or she can use without difficulty and in a very practical way. It is therefore an excellent handbook in which any child can easily find the solution to errors and language problems and can thereby consistently improve their oral and written expression.

Matilde BettencourtLicenciada em Ensino de Português e pós-graduada em Teoria da Literatura, desenvolve, atualmente, o doutoramento na área da Literatura Portuguesa e outras artes (dos séculos XIX e XX). Foi docente em cursos de Português Língua Estrangeira e de preparação para o acesso ao Ensino Superior, nos quais lecionou, entre outras, a disciplina de Língua Portuguesa. Enquanto investigadora, integra várias equipas e colabora em diversos projetos relacionados com a língua e a literatura portuguesas.
Sérgio Guimarães de Sousa
Doutorado em Ciências da Literatura, é docente na Universidade do Minho (Departamento de Estudos Portugueses e Lusófonos). A sua área de investigação incide essencialmente sobre escritores portugueses e brasileiros dos séculos XIX e XX (Eça de Queirós, Almeida Garrett, Camilo Castelo Branco, Tomaz de Figueiredo, António Lobo Antunes, Dalton Trevisan, Raduan Nassar, Chico Buarque de Hollanda). Durante vários anos foi coordenador, na Universidade do Minho, da área da Língua Portuguesa num curso de preparação para o acesso ao Ensino Superior.
José Manuel da Costa Esteves
Licenciado em Filologia Românica, é responsável, desde 2002, pela Cátedra Lindley Cintra do Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua na Universidade Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense. Foi Coordenador dos Leitores de Português em França, Bélgica e Holanda. Tem publicações nos domínios da didática das línguas, das políticas linguísticas e culturais e da literatura portuguesa moderna e contemporânea.
