Teki faz Ginástica is the second volume in a series of stories in "Project Teki" by the Timorese NGO Diaktimor, the aim of which is to engage children in reading genuinely Timorese stories in both of the official languages of Timor-Leste (Portuguese and Tetum), with the aim of providing both leisure reading and educating them in important themes for their development. The main character, Teki, symbolises the children of the country of Grandfather crocodile: she is cheerful, curious, adventurous and dreamy. Teki is a Timorese girl who likes to discover the world around her. At school, Teki discovers that gymnastics is really fun and back at home she wants to get everyone to exercise. Maria Inês AlmeidaJornalista de formação (Universidade Católica Portuguesa), dedica-se à autoria de livros infanto-juvenis. Recebeu o Prémio Revelação do Clube de Jornalistas em 2005. Foi sempre freelancer.
Em dezembro de 2013, deslocou-se a Timor-Leste para o pré-lançamento do livro Teki faz Ginástica, escrito no âmbito de um projeto de incentivo à leitura entre as crianças timorenses.
Em 2014 visitou também algumas escolas portuguesas em Boston, New Bedford e Taunton. O mesmo aconteceu em 2015 onde visitou escolas portuguesas em Toronto e na costa leste dos EUA.
Tem o blogue ondevamoshoje.blogs.sapo.pt, destinado a apresentar propostas diárias de diversão e ocupação dos tempos livres para as crianças.
